City and Guilds UK Awards International Accreditation to Pakistani Institutions


Islamabad: In a significant development for Pakistan’s vocational and technical education landscape, City and Guilds UK, a globally recognized leader in skills development, has awarded International Accreditation to more than 35 institutions and universities across the country. This initiative is supported by GEMS Middle East and executed in collaboration with the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC).



The accreditation aims to enhance the employment prospects of Pakistani youth, particularly in the GCC and European markets. City and Guilds UK, established in 1876 and holding Royal Chartered status, is known for its world-class skills certification programs that prepare individuals for a dynamic global workforce. Through its widely respected qualifications, the institution seeks to equip professionals with essential skills, thereby boosting career opportunities across various sectors.



The formal ceremony for awarding the accreditation was held at the National Excellence Institute in Islamabad. Chairperson NAVTTC, Ms. Gulmina Bilal, presented official certificates to several accredited institutions, including the American Lycetuff School system DNK-Sabzazar Branch, American Lycetuff School system DNK-PWD Branch, and the National Excellence Institute.



This milestone is anticipated to enhance the international mobility of Pakistani professionals and solidify the nation’s position in the global skills economy.
