Chinese Industries’ Relocation to Pakistan: Hexing Electrical Plans Investment in Renewable Energy and Factories


Islamabad: In a significant development for Pakistan’s investment landscape, Chinese business conglomerate Hexing Electrical has announced plans to expand its operations into Pakistan, focusing on renewable energy and manufacturing sectors. This announcement was made during a meeting between Hexing Group China Chairman Liang Zhang Zhou and Abdul Aleem Khan, the Minister for Board of Investment and Privatization.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting underscored a mutual interest in strengthening bilateral cooperation through direct investment and industrial transfer from China to Pakistan. Liang Zhang Zhou outlined Hexing’s global operational footprint, mentioning that the company, which already has factories in twenty countries, is set to establish manufacturing facilities for inverters and batteries in Pakistan.



Minister Abdul Aleem Khan welcomed the move, highlighting it as a positive development for the country’s economy. He assured the Chinese delegation of Pakistan’s commitment to facilitating their investment and other international ventures looking to establish or expand their presence in Pakistan.



Further elaborating on the economic implications of such investments, Minister Khan noted that the increasing interest of Chinese companies in setting up joint ventures with the Pakistani business community would bolster Pakistan-China relations and stimulate business activities within the country.
