Chinese Delegation Explores Gwadar Developments, Discusses CPEC Phase 2


Islamabad: A high-level Chinese delegation, led by Wang Fukang from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, visited Gwadar today to review progress and discuss the next phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The visit focused on the South Free Zone and Gwadar Port, crucial components in the bilateral initiative expected to boost regional economic development and cooperation.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the delegation met with officials from the Gwadar Port Authority to deliberate on the specifics of CPEC Phase 2, aiming to enhance industrial cooperation and infrastructure development in the region. The Chairman of the Gwadar Port Authority emphasized the pivotal role of the CPEC in the success and future prospects of Gwadar Port.
