Chinese Delegation Explores Further Infrastructure Development with CDA in Islamabad

Islamabad: In a move to bolster ongoing urban development initiatives, a high-level delegation from the China State Construction Engineering Company (CSCEC) visited the Capital Development Authority (CDA) headquarters on Friday. The visit aimed to discuss and deepen cooperation on various infrastructure projects within Islamabad.

According to Capital Development Authority, the meeting served as a platform for the CSCEC delegation to engage with CDA officials on several significant projects, including enhancements to transportation systems, construction of public buildings, and broad urban development schemes. The CDA Chairman highlighted the vital role of CSCEC in Pakistan’s infrastructure growth, applauding their efficiency and transparency in completing projects such as the Sukkur-Multan Motorway Section and the Arfa Karim Tower in Lahore.

The discussions underscored a mutual interest in expanding collaboration, with the Chinese delegation keen on participating in multiple stages of project development from design through to funding. This meeting marks a continued commitment to leveraging international partnerships to drive urban development in Islamabad, promising innovative solutions and increased investment in the city’s infrastructure.
