China Sends Additional Monsoon Relief Aid to Pakistan

Islamabad: China has sent another consignment of humanitarian aid to Pakistan to assist families affected by recent floods. A relief aircraft, carrying 90 tons of goods, landed at Islamabad International Airport today. The shipment includes 700 tents, 16,000 blankets, 1,000 life jackets, and 4,000 sleeping bags.

This latest effort follows earlier deliveries on September 28, 2025, when China dispatched two relief flights with 300 tents and 9,000 blankets. These actions reflect China’s ongoing support for Pakistan during the flooding crisis.

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is tasked with distributing the relief items efficiently, following the Prime Minister’s directives. Coordination with relevant government bodies aims to ensure that the aid reaches the affected communities swiftly.

The Pakistani government has expressed gratitude for China’s timely assistance. This gesture is seen as a reaffirmation of the strong ties and cooperation between the two nations.
