China Praises Pakistan Army’s Counter-Terrorism Efforts, Promises Continued Support

Islamabad: During a significant meeting in Pakistan, Chinese Premier Li Qiang praised the Pakistan Army’s efforts in combating terrorism and reaffirmed China’s commitment to supporting Pakistan in this ongoing fight. The meeting, part of Premier Li’s agenda at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit, focused on enhancing defense cooperation and addressing mutual concerns over terrorism.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Premier Li met with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and the service chiefs to discuss the future of Pakistan-China relations. The discussions highlighted the importance of a strengthened partnership in defense and security sectors, aiming to expand the long-standing ties between the two nations.
