Guangzhou: China has inaugurated a direct flight service between Guangzhou and Islamabad, aiming to bolster economic ties and travel convenience between the two countries. This new air route will operate three times weekly: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the establishment of the Guangzhou-Islamabad flight route follows an announcement by Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on August 1st. Sharif stated that Pakistan will grant visa-free entry to Chinese nationals to foster enhanced economic and industrial cooperation.
The direct flight is expected to facilitate easier exchanges in business, tourism, and cultural sectors, strengthening the long-standing partnership between China and Pakistan.
