Karachi: On the instructions of Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori, students from Shah Wilayat Public School visited the historic Governor House for an educational tour. The visit aimed to educate the children about national heritage and significant historical landmarks.
According to Sindh Governor House, the students explored various features of the Governor House, including historical artifacts in the room of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the “Hope Bell,” a complaint cell, a ration drive, and an IT marquee. The students reported that ringing the Hope Bell was an engaging experience. They were informed by the complaint cell staff on how to register complaints. The IT marquee sparked interest among the students in available IT courses. Both students and teachers described the visit as memorable, with teachers noting that welfare projects like the ration drive have instilled a sense of public service in the students. They also remarked on the positive impact of the Governor Initiative’s projects on the young generation.
