Islamabad, August 25, 2021 (PPI-OT):Chief Secretary Punjab Jawad Rafique Malik and IG Punjab Inam Ghani called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at Governor House, Lahore. Chief Minister Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar was also present in the meeting. Prime Minister was briefed on the overall law and order situation in the province, steps taken by the administration against encroachment mafia and to stop inflation and hoarding.
The briefing also included the steps taken for the protection of women across the province Prime Minister directed that immediate and drastic measures should be taken to prevent such incidents in the future and to protect women. The Prime Minister further added that immediate action should be taken against the accused to ensure exemplary punishment. Prime Minister Imran Khan also directed to take steps to protect the lives and property of the citizens.
