Chief of Army Staff lauds efforts of ANF in controlling drug trafficking in country

Islamabad, July 28, 2021 (PPI-OT):Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa has lauded the efforts of Anti-Narcotics Force in controlling the drug trafficking in the country. According to ISPR, the Army Chief expressed these views during his visit to Anti-Narcotics Force Headquarters. Interacting with the officers and staff, General Bajwa said that drug peddlers and those involved in its production are a threat to national security and relentless enemies of humanity.

He said that drug money is being used for promotion of terrorism and therefore, it is important that narcotics dealers are dealt with iron hands. On the occasion, the Army Chief was given a detailed operational brief regarding genesis of ANF and its contributions for controlling drug-trafficking in Pakistan.
