Rawalpindi, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir hosted an Iftar dinner for the Pakistan Cricket Team at Army House in Rawalpindi. The event was attended by notable figures including the Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board, Mohsin Naqvi, alongside other officials from the PCB.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Iftar dinner comes after the Pakistan Cricket Team completed a physical training program at the Army School of Physical Training (ASPT) camp in Kakul, Abbottabad. The training is part of the team’s preparation and development efforts.
General Syed Asim Munir, speaking at the event, extended his best wishes to the team for their future endeavors. In response, members of the Pakistan Cricket Team expressed their gratitude towards the Army Chief for the exceptional training received at Kakul. They also acknowledged the Pakistan Army’s significant role in supporting sports within the country.
