Chief Minister’s Lahore Revamp Plan to Impact 92% of the City’s Population

Lahore, A significant meeting was held under the leadership of Punjab Local Government Minister Zeeshan Rafiq at the Chief Minister’s House, 90 Quaid-e-Azam Highway, focusing on the progress of the “Chief Minister Lahore Revamping Plan.” The plan promises substantial upgrades to the city’s infrastructure, aiming to enhance the living conditions for 92% of Lahore’s residents.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the meeting involved various key stakeholders, including Provincial Finance Minister Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Political Affairs Zeeshan Ahmed Malik, along with members of both the National and Provincial Assembly. Discussions centered around the challenges faced by constituencies and the solutions provided under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. Zeeshan Rafiq stressed the comprehensive nature of the revamp, which includes repairing dilapidated streets and drainage systems within three months. He also highlighted the importance of aligning development efforts with the monsoon season to avoid resource wastage.
