Lahore, Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has taken immediate and strict notice of a robbery incident involving a family of Sikh pilgrims in Gulbarg. He has demanded a prompt report from the CCPO Lahore on the matter.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, Chief Minister Naqvi ordered the swift arrest of the perpetrators involved in the robbery. He directed that the suspects be identified expeditiously using CCTV footage and that they should be brought to justice within 48 hours. The Chief Minister expressed concern over the robbery in an area like Gulbarg and highlighted the need to investigate any negligence in police response. He stressed that the protection of Sikh pilgrims is a responsibility, and any lapse in their security will not be tolerated.
