Chief Minister Punjab Addresses Traders’ Convention 

Lahore, December 29, 2022 (PPI-OT):Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has said that our intention is good; we are serving people along with religion. We want to save the nation’s children from misguidance and take them in the right direction. A good generation will grow up only through the education of religion. Religion should be the first among the priorities of the new generation.

The bill of Khatam Al-Nabieen University has been passed and it would be affiliated with the Al-Azhar University of Egypt. The fruits of good intentions are rewarded by Allah Almighty. He was addressing the convention of the business community at 90-SQA today.

He said that traders’ problems would be solved on a priority basis and added that traders are the lynchpin of the economy. He said that Shehbaz Sharif has not done any work in Gujrat for 20 years. Shehbaz Sharif has been badly exposed after becoming the prime minister. Shehbaz Sharif showed enmity with Sira’t Academy by locking it.

I don’t care about PDM and serving the people is my priority. Allah Almighty has given me the position of chief ministership and if Allah does not want to give, nothing can be obtained; if Allah wants to give, no one can take it away, he said. The whole time would be spent serving the people and solving their problems. The government was working at a fast pace, and God willing, the projects would be completed.

He said that the government was investing in the development of the people by reducing expenses. Advanced machinery for cancer treatment, surgery and children was being provided at the divisional level. Mere announcements are not enough, the real thing is to carry out the development projects, he maintained. We have done so much work in 100 days which was not done in 10 years, he added.

Principal Secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti, former principal secretary GM Sikandar, former education minister Mian Imran Masood, Mehr Muhammad Ilyas, Imtiaz Ahmad Shakir, Ghiyasuddin Pall, and Qazi Khalid Saifullah. Malik Sarfraz, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sikandar Ashfaq, Chairman of Pottery Association Haji Muhammad Zahid and a large number of the business community participated in the event.
