Lahore, March 27, 2023 (PPI-OT):Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid a surprise visit to 2 free flour supply centers in Sheikhupura today. Citizens piled up complaints regarding registration in Benazir Income Support Program centers. Citizens complained that the registration process at Benazir Income Support Program centers is very slow.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi assured the citizens of redressal of grievances and said that the issue will be resolved by talking to the officials of the federal government and the Benazir Income Support Program. Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi reviewed the arrangements for supply of free flour.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi inspected the process from the verification of citizens to the distribution of flour. Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi directed to further improve the arrangements at the centers. Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that the citizens should not face any difficulty at the centers. Mohsin Naqvi also checked the weight of the bag of flour.
The Chief Minister said that from March 29, the family who gets a bag at the centers will be given 20 kg of flour at the same time and this will not only give relief to the citizens but also the trouble of coming to the centers again and again. It won’t happen. A committee has been formed to facilitate the registration process. Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi took immediate action on the complaints of the citizens and issued instructions to the staff on the spot.
