Lahore, In anticipation of Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has mandated law enforcement agencies to ensure fool-proof security measures across the province, with a particular focus on protecting congregational prayers at mosques and imambargahs.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the Chief Minister’s directive encompasses heightened vigilance during Chand Raat and Eid-ul-Fitr, requiring the deployment of additional police personnel and the presence of senior officers in the field to oversee the security protocol. The instructions underscore the administration’s commitment to the safety and security of the public during one of the most significant religious celebrations in Pakistan.
