This policy includes the development of the Punjab Disaster Management Authority along modern lines. The government is actively organizing regular awareness programs to educate the public on handling natural disasters effectively.
Chief Minister Sharif stressed the importance of public awareness about safety measures during emergencies and noted that earthquake prevention techniques are being incorporated into infrastructure development in Punjab.
