Lahore, In light of the Shawwal-ul-Mukarram moon sighting, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif extended congratulations to the public, coupling her Eid greetings with prayers for peace, faith, safety, and adherence to Islamic values. She emphasized the importance of these virtues not only during the Eid celebrations but throughout the entire month.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the Chief Minister’s message also included heartfelt prayers for the people of Gaza and the oppressed Kashmiris, expressing hope for their peace and freedom. Her statement reflects a deep concern for global Muslim communities facing challenges and a desire for their relief and autonomy.
