Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Meets LUMS Students in Lahore


Lahore, In a noteworthy interaction at the Chief Minister’s Office, students and leadership from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) engaged in a meaningful dialogue with Punjab’s Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz Sharif. The meeting, which included members of the LUMS Model United Nations (MUN) winning team, provided an opportunity for the students to express their views on the current political landscape and the significance of Maryam Nawaz’s leadership.



According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the students conveyed their enthusiasm and support for Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s tenure, highlighting it as a transformative change eagerly anticipated by society. In response, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz emphasized her commitment to education, considering investments in students as the paramount priority and pledging unwavering support with all necessary resources. She acknowledged the rapid emergence of talent in Pakistan and assured ongoing dialogue and mentorship for students, expressing pride in Pakistani identity.



The LUMS delegation, including students Habib Shehryar, Sabeen Hamood, Mah Noor Gul, Raheel Hasan Siddiqui, Shanze Hashim, Malik Daniyal Umar Khan, and Laiba Abid, also commended the contributions of ASP Shahr Bano to the community. The meeting was attended by notable figures such as Member Provincial Assembly Rana Sikandar Hayat, Secretary of Higher Education, Vice Chancellor Dr. Ali Cheema, Dean Dr. Ali Yawar Khan, Director Nizhat Kamran, PPF Chairman Dr. Amjad Saqib, and heads of various educational institutions.
