Lahore, July 09, 2022 (PPI-OT):Chief Minister Punjab Hamza Shahbaz Sharif made a big decision on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha and remitted one month punishment of prisoners who were detained in prisons for committing minor crimes across the prisons of the province.

Those prisoners whose punishments were being remitted would be able to celebrate Eid with their loved ones at their homes.CM while approving to remit the punishment of prisoners said that the prisons should become Reform Houses.

“The main objective should be to reform the prisoners being brought in the prisons for committing minor crimes instead of becoming major criminals due to the bad behaviour of prison staff and other criminals at the time of their release from the prisons,”CM maintained.
