Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa Highlights District Courts’ Crucial Role in Judicial Confidence

Islamabad, Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Qazi Faez Isa, emphasized the significant role of district courts in enhancing public confidence in the judiciary system.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during an event at the Federal Judicial Academy in Islamabad, Chief Justice Isa highlighted the responsibility of the district judiciary in ensuring fairness and treating lawyers with respect. He stressed the importance of not only administering justice but also ensuring that it is perceived to be done fairly by the public.

Chief Justice Isa also addressed the issue of frivolous litigation. He underscored the need to discourage such practices and suggested that imposing costs could be an effective way to mitigate this problem. This approach aims to ensure a more efficient and credible judicial process.
