Islamabad: The Chief Justice of Pakistan convened a consultative meeting with representatives of the legal fraternity at the Supreme Court of Pakistan, emphasizing judicial reforms and cooperation between the Bench and Bar.

According to Press Information Department, the meeting was attended by representatives from various bar associations, including the Lahore High Court Bar Association and the Islamabad Bar Association. The Attorney General for Pakistan, Mr. Mansoor Usman Awan, was also present. Discussions centered on judicial reforms, case management improvements, and access to justice. The Chief Justice highlighted ongoing initiatives such as digitization of judicial processes, e-filing, and video-link hearings.

Participants were briefed on reforms including Continuing Legal Education programmes, Women Facilitation Centres, and modernization of judicial infrastructure. The engagement underscored a commitment to strengthening judicial independence and enhancing institutional efficiency in Pakistan’s justice system.
