Srinagar, October 26, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has condemned the murderous attacks on the Kashmiri students, labourers and businessmen working in Indian states in the wake of India’s defeat at the hands of Pakistan in a T20 World Cup match at Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar termed the spontaneous jubilant moments of the victory of Pakistan as a bit of psychological solace for the people of Kashmir who are living a hellish life as hostages at the hands of Indian occupation forces.
“Caged in their homes and transgressed by one million occupation forces, this sports event provided a little gap for the freedom loving people of Kashmir to express their ire against the Indian illegal occupation and against the so-called visit of the Home Minister of India, Amit Shah,” he added.
The people of Kashmir displayed their inner sentiments and love for freedom which the Indian fascist regime is trying to suppress by using its brute military force and acts of violence against the people belonging to all walks of life in and outside the occupied territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
The spokesman denounced the registration of an FIR under the draconian law Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) against those people who celebrated the Pakistan’s cricket victory in Kashmir, said that if this ridiculous action holds some base then India should have to charge 8 million freedom loving people of Kashmir under the said draconian law.
The APHC spokesman affirmed the burning desire of the people of Jammu and Kashmir for their inalienable right to self-determination and breaking the clutches of forcible and illegal occupation of India which the visiting Indian Home Minster must have observed when the people of Kashmir despite heavy deployment of occupation forces could not help express their jubilation on the sports victory of Pakistan which must be read as a political rejection of Indian subjugation.
Terming Kashmir as a political issue, still pending on the U N agenda, India should shun arrogance, stop genocide, barbarism and human rights abuses in the illegally occupied territory, as the repressive and oppressive measures used by India with impunity have utterly failed to suppress the freedom sentiments of the besieged people of Kashmir, the APHC spokesman said it has become highly imperative for United Nations Secretary General to address the issue in its historical perspective and the United Nations Security Council resolutions on Kashmir.
The spokesman reiterating the shutdown call given by APHC Chairman Masarrat Aalam Butt appealed to the people to observe 27th of October, Wednesday, as a Black Day and also observe complete blackout from 7 PM. to 8 PM. He appealed to the Kashmiri Diaspora to organise protest rallies and raise banners and placards displaying unabated killings, vandalising of civilian properties, torturing of the innocent people, molestation of women and other human rights abuses at the hands of Indian occupation forces in the nook and corner of the occupied territory.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the way Kashmiris celebrated India’s crushing defeat at the hands of Pakistan in Dubai is eye-opening for India. The spokesman said that the celebration is vindictive of the fact Kashmiris have no place for India in their hearts and their hearts only throb with the Pakistanis.
