Chaman Education Officials Focus on Repairing Flood-Damaged Schools and Enhancing Teaching Quality

Chaman: Deputy Commissioner Habib Ahmed Bangalzai chaired a key meeting of the District Education Group at the DC office, focusing on the restoration of flood-damaged educational institutions and the overall improvement of educational standards in the district.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting included detailed briefings by District Education Officers Uzma Gillani and Abdul Quddus about the current state of schools in Chaman and ongoing efforts to repair those affected by recent severe weather. DC Bangalzai emphasized the commitment to rapidly completing these restorations despite financial constraints. He stressed the importance of modernizing education to meet contemporary challenges and ensuring that educators are fully engaged and equipped to provide quality education.

The session also addressed issues of accountability within the education sector. New measures were discussed, including departmental actions and inquiries against teachers and cluster heads who have underperformed. This initiative is part of a broader effort to ensure that educational standards are not only restored but also enhanced in the wake of natural disasters.
