Chaman: In an ongoing effort to bolster public health in the region, Deputy Commissioner Captain R. Raja Athar Abbas visited and reviewed the operations of the free medical camps and polio program organized by the Health Department of Chaman. The initiative aims to enhance healthcare services and provide essential medical treatments to the local population, especially focusing on those coming from distant areas.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, during his visit, DC Chaman received briefings from both male and female doctors about the patient care being administered at the camps. He emphasized the importance of professional diligence among the medical staff and inspected the facilities, including clean drinking water and bathrooms, to ensure they meet the needs of the attendees.
DC Abbas also issued directives to the security personnel, including levies and police officers, to maintain vigilance and ensure the safety and comfort of the patients. He stressed that the medical teams and security forces must avoid negligence and serve with dedication throughout the duration of the medical camps.
The Deputy Commissioner lauded the efforts of the polio and health departments in organizing these camps periodically, recognizing the significant impact such initiatives have on the health and well-being of the people of Chaman. He expressed gratitude for the commitment shown by the health personnel and emphasized the ongoing need to provide such vital services to the community.
