Chairman Senate of Pakistan, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani Condemns Desecration of Holy Quran and Calls for Global Unity

Islamabad, July 25, 2023 (PPI-OT): In response to the another disturbing incident of the desecration of the Holy Quran outside the Iraqi embassy in Denmark, Chairman Senate of Pakistan, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, has issued a statement denouncing the act and expressing concern over the emerging pattern of hurting Muslim sentiments to sabotage peace and harmony among religious groups.

Expressing his heartfelt condemnation, Chairman Senate emphasized the need for swift and resolute action to address this grave concern. He highlighted that such reprehensible acts not only hurt the religious sentiments of millions of Muslims but also pose a significant threat to global peace and stability.

Chairman Senate further emphasized that these sinister designs, seemingly aimed at creating divisions among nations, must be halted immediately. He called upon the international community to unite against such acts of intolerance and reaffirm the values of mutual respect, tolerance, and understanding that lie at the heart of harmonious coexistence.

As the Senate Chairman underscored the importance of preserving religious harmony, he urged countries around the world to take preventive measures to thwart any potential recurrence of such malicious actions. Deputy Chairman Senate, Mirza Muhammad Afridi, has also condemned the recent desecration of the Holy Quran outside the Iraqi embassy in Denmark. Expressing deep distress over the incident, Deputy Chairman emphasized the need for upholding religious tolerance and respect for diverse beliefs worldwide.
