Islamabad, Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, issued a strong condemnation of the consecration of the ‘Ram Temple’ on the site of the demolished Babri Mosque.
According to Senate of Pakistan, Chairman Sanjrani criticized the event as a manifestation of Islamophobia by the Indian government. He asserted that this act not only compromises the safety of Indian Muslims and other religious minorities but also contradicts the democratic and secular values professed by India. Sanjrani’s statement reflects deep concerns regarding the treatment of minorities and religious freedom in India.
Karachi, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori recently visited the Karachi Intermediate Board, addressing concerns about the high failure rate of Karachi students. He sought detailed information from the Commissioner Karachi/Chairman about the students’ underperformance.
According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori, during his interaction with the media, emphasized that student abuse would not be tolerated and affirmed his support for every victim in the province. He expressed concern over the 66% failure rate among Karachi students, questioning the efficacy of the education system. Tesori noted that this meeting was crucial for addressing the worries of both students and parents and bridging communication gaps.
The Governor acknowledged the efforts of the Commissioner in improving the operations of the Karachi Board. He announced that the examination papers of students who scored 80% in matriculation would be rechecked to ensure fair evaluation and timely compilation of results. Addressing another query, he stated that only 769 students have sought scrutiny of their results. Governor Tesori assured that the scrutiny fee for students unable to afford it would be covered.
