Islamabad, January 10, 2023 (PPI-OT):Chairman Senate, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, along with a parliamentary delegation, was received by the senior chairman of the Iraqi Foreign Relations Committee, Aamer H. Al-fa’ez, at the airport. The chairman senate and the delegation expressed their happiness on the warm welcome and congratulated on the beginning of a new era of reconstruction and development in Iraq.
Chairman Senate also invited Speaker of Iraqi Parliament to participate in the upcoming Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Senate of Pakistan. Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani along with the delegation also visited the shrine of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani in Baghdad. Chairman Senate offered prayers for peace and stability of Pakistan. Senate Chairman is on a four-day visit to Iraq where he will also meet senior officials of Iraqi Govt.
