Islamabad: Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani extended his felicitations to Muslims in Pakistan and globally, as well as to Hajj pilgrims, on the occasions of Hajj and Youm-e-Arafah. He underscored the significance of these events as reminders of faith, sacrifice, and unity, urging Muslims to reflect on their responsibilities toward service and obedience.
According to Senate of Pakistan, Gilani highlighted the importance of Youm-e-Arafah as a day of mercy and acceptance of prayers, noting the gathering in Arafat as a representation of Islamic unity and equality. He called on the Muslim Ummah to pray for global peace and the end of conflicts and suffering.
The Chairman emphasized the enduring inspiration from the sacrifices of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) and Hazrat Ismail (AS), urging greater unity and cooperation among Muslim nations. He prayed for the acceptance of prayers and sacrifices of pilgrims and for peace and prosperity in Pakistan and worldwide.
