Multan: Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the recent train accident involving the Rahman Baba Express, which resulted in the loss of several lives and injuries to over 30 people.
According to Senate of Pakistan, Chairman Gillani has offered prayers for those who lost their lives and extended condolences to the bereaved families. He called for an effective and comprehensive strategy to prevent future train accidents and emphasized the need for strengthened safety measures and improvements in the railway system.
Gillani instructed relevant authorities to provide the best possible medical facilities to those injured, stressing that negligence in their treatment and care should not be tolerated.
