Islamabad, May 16, 2022 (PPI-OT):Chairman, CDA visited the CDA Library on Saturday. Officers of relevant departments including CDA member admin were also present on the occasion. The Chairman CDA directed the CDA to digitize and preserve the historically significant records in the library, especially the master plan records.

Furthermore, the Chairman CDA directed that the Islamabad Architectural Gallery should be constructed in the same manner as the CDA has constructed Islamabad Art Gallery in F-9 Park. He directed that all major projects in Islamabad Along with relevant information and details, models of these projects should be kept.

Similarly, information related to master plan should also be kept in this library. CDA chairman further directed that a book containing maps of various places in Islamabad would also be launched on a regular basis. This cultural library will be set up in Iqbal Hall or any other suitable building. In this regard, the CDA administration in collaboration with the Art Departments of various universities will also assist the library in making it fully functional, which will play a vital role in making the library functional. An advisory board will also be set up for the library in the style of F-9 Park.
