Islamabad, August 03, 2022 (PPI-OT):Chairman Capital Development Authority on Wednesday visited 7th Avenue Interchange and Rawal Dam Interchange project and reviewed the ongoing development works on the project in detail. On this occasion, the officers of the relevant departments were also present.
According to the details, the Seventh Avenue interchange project has entered the completion stages and in a few days the underpass constructed on Khayaban Suhrawardy Road connected to Seventh Avenue will be completed. Similarly, by the end of this month, the project will be completed and opened for traffic in record time ahead of schedule.
Further, the Chairman Capital Authority also visited the Rawal Dam Interchange project and made a detailed review of the development works in the project. On this occasion, Chairman CDA issued instructions to the concerned sectors and said that high quality should be ensured in the construction works at all times.
In this regard, if the weather is clear, the asphaltic base course work on the flyover will be started from Thursday, which will be completed in two days. Will be opened for traffic till In case of cloudy weather, flyover asphaltic base course work may take up to three to four days. Apart from this, work is going on rapidly on IJP Road by the relevant departments of the Capital Development Authority, which will be completed within the stipulated period.
