Islamabad, October 17, 2022 (PPI-OT):Chairman CDA Captain (Retd) Muhammad Usman Younis inaugurated the Backyard Ultra World Championship at F 9 Park on Saturday. It is being organized in collaboration with the Margalla trail runners. On this occasion, a large number of citizens including the officers of the relevant departments were also with him.

About 20 runners were participating in this event. On this occasion, Chairman Capital Development Authority Captain (retired) Muhammad Usman Yunus said that the more healthy activities are organized, the less they are. He said that promoting healthy activities is one of the top priorities of the organization. Addressing the participants of the race, he added that it is just a game for you, but if we look at it at the government level, it is a lifestyle and we want to promote such a lifestyle in Islamabad.

Chairman Capital Development Authority Captain (Retired) Muhammad Usman Yunus further said that I wish that the number of runners will be doubled next year. This event should be given an annual status and patronage at the official level should also be ensured.

He further said that in this regard, all the resources required from the district administration, Capital Development Authority and ICT will be provided, similarly we will ensure all kinds of support to promote healthy activities. Apart from this, Chairman CDA added that we should promote more such events. In this regard, the management of Capital Development Authority is always present for all kinds of cooperation with you.
