Lahore, September 04, 2023 (PPI-OT): Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has given priority measures for the health and welfare of the police personnel and their families. It has approved the release of funds exceeding Rs. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar approved the release of funds on cases sent from various districts including Lahore. 18 lakhs 30 thousand rupees approved for cochlear implant for 04-year-old daughter of wireless operator Zahid Mehmood, suffering from hearing impairment. Four-year-old Anaya Zahid will be able to hear with cochlear implant. 100,000 rupees were given, Constable Umar Farooq, who lost his leg in a traffic accident, was given 500,000 rupees for treatment. Giving Rs.05 lakhs to ASI Muhammad Khalid Javed for treatment of daughter’s back bone Approval of Head Constable Muhammad Zaheer Abbas was given 05 lakh rupees for daughter’s neuro and vision treatment. Ghazi Constable Kaleemullah was given Rs.02 lakhs for surgical treatment.
Welfare Management Committee under the chairmanship of Additional IG Welfare and Finance Riyaz Nazir Gada had recommended the release of funds on the above mentioned cases. Approved. DIG Headquarters Humayun Bashir Tarar, DIG Welfare Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin, AIG Ahsan Saifullah and AIG Welfare Naveed Ajmal attended the meeting.
