Islamabad: MoHR and the National Commission on the Rights of Child – NCRC Pakistan hosted a celebration at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) for World Children’s Day 2024. The event underscored the nation’s focus on advancing children’s rights, bringing together dignitaries, ambassadors, civil society representatives, academia, and children.
According to Ministry of Human Rights, the celebration featured performances by children from various provinces, who delivered skits and songs conveying messages of unity and hope. These performances showcased the children’s creativity and emphasized the importance of creating a safer, more inclusive environment for every child.
Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, Federal Minister for Law, Justice and Human Rights, reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to protecting children’s rights and ensuring their voices are heard in shaping a better future. The event inspired attendees to collaborate in empowering youth and fostering a society where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
