Islamabad: The Central Development Working Party (CDWP) has approved a series of development projects valued at Rs 187 billion. The approvals were granted during a meeting chaired by the Minister for Planning and Development and Special Initiatives, Ahsan Iqbal, who also serves as Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting led to the endorsement of six projects directly by the CDWP, amounting to Rs 19 billion. Additionally, the forum has recommended another six projects, totaling Rs 168 billion, for further consideration by the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council.
This funding initiative reflects the government’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure and public services across the country, addressing key areas of development through substantial financial investment.
