CDWP Approves $3 Billion in Projects for Flood-Affected Areas in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, The Central Development Working Party (CDWP) has approved development projects totaling three billion dollars for flood-affected regions in Pakistan. These initiatives aim to provide immediate and long-term support to the flood-hit communities.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting reported that the approved projects include the Emergency Flood Assistance Project, focusing on farm water management, access to clean energy, and post-flood reconstruction. The projects, funded by international organizations like the World Bank, Asian Development Bank (ADB), and Islamic Development Bank, are set to be executed in Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan, signaling a significant move towards recovery and resilience in the affected areas.
