CDA’s Anti Encroachment Operations in different areas of the City 

Islamabad, May 20, 2022 (PPI-OT):On the direction of the management of the Capital Development Authority, the Enforcement Directorate on Thursday in different areas of Islamabad with the help of the district administration and Islamabad Police took several actions to end the illegal construction. In which several illegal structures were demolished with the help of heavy machinery.

According to details, these operations were started from Mouza Bhekar in Sector E-12/3 of Islamabad. Where the Enforcement Department took full action against the occupation mafia as a result of which more than 70 tents erected on government lands were removed.

Similarly, an illegal hut in Hansa Colony in Sector G-8/1 was demolished with the help of heavy machinery. In addition, the Department of Enforcement, with the help of heavy machinery, demolished 1 and 4 walls, including 6 illegal rooms, built on government land in Sector C-12, and relinquished government land.

In addition, an illegal four-walled hut and a hut were demolished with the help of heavy machinery, thwarting an attempt to seize government land at Mouza Mohrian in Rawal Town area of ​​Islamabad. Similarly, the illegal fence erected on government land at GT Road near Sarai Kharboza on the outskirts of Islamabad was demolished with the help of heavy machinery and the attempt to occupy government land was foiled.

On this occasion, the CDA administration said that protection of government lands is our top priority and no concession will be made to the occupation mafia and these measures are aimed at keeping Islamabad free from illegal constructions and encroachments.

It should be noted that for the last several months, the management of the Capital Development Authority has been engaged in operations against the occupation mafia, as a result of which billions of rupees of government lands have been relinquished.
