CDA to remove encroachments from the city

Islamabad, December 07, 2022 (PPI-OT):On the instructions of CDA Captain (retired) Muhammad Usman Yunus, DG Enforcement has formed a regular challan team while reforming to improve and speed up the anti-encroachment campaign. that challans will be issued under CDA Ordinance 1960 and Martial Law Regulation 63 against the encroachers in Islamabad, in this regard, the issuing of notices before the regular challans has been started and the owners of 7 nurseries near Rawal Dam 3 days to vacate government land and encroachment

Issue a notice of termination after three days, the challan will be prepared and sent to the court of the Senior Special Magistrate CDA for further legal action. While carrying out anti-encroachment operations in Rawal Dam Chowk, Saniyari Chontra Village, Sector G-7/4 and Sector H-11, I demolished several constructions and transferred 10 kanals of land.

According to the details, the operation was started from Saniyari Chontra, where 2 rooms, 3 boundary walls, 10 DPC along with 3 water bores were demolished and 10 kanals of government land were handed over using heavy machinery. An illegal kiosk and chapar hotel were demolished in Sector H-11. Similarly, in Sector G-7/4, the constructions were also demolished and the vehicles were removed from the footpath of Khadda Market and the public yard was vacated. DG Enforcement says that more reforms will be made in anti-encroachment.
