CDA received over Rs 84 million revenue in April 2022

Islamabad, May 16, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Building Control Department of the Capital Development Authority received revenue of over Rs 84 million in April 2022. According to the details, the Building Control Department of the Capital Development Authority issued completion certificates to 31 residential buildings in Islamabad in the month of April after completion and inspection, in which revenue of about Rs. 3 million was collected

Similarly, an amount of Rs. 2 million was received for approval of maps of 28 residential buildings. The Department of Building Control received more than Rs. 77 million in April for approval of maps of commercial buildings.

Similarly, 69 residential buildings received revenue of about Rs. 700,000 for issuing NOCs. While NOCs were issued to 18 commercial buildings at a cost of about Rs. 3.6 lakhs. The building owners were also fined Rs 500,000 by the building control department for violating the building by-laws. Thus, a total of Rs. 84.333 million was received by the Building Control Department of the Capital Development Authority in April 2022.
