CDA Invites Business Community to Participate in Independence Day Celebrations

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is set to engage the corporate and business community in the upcoming Independence Day celebrations, as part of the AzadiFest activities planned for August 14. CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa met with a delegation from the business sector on Tuesday, emphasizing the importance of unity and patriotism in the celebrations.

According to Capital Development Authority, Chairman Randhawa invited the corporate sector to actively participate in the AzadiFest, aiming to make the Independence Day celebrations inclusive and grand. The meeting also focused on the CDA’s new policies designed to facilitate business investment and development in Islamabad. These include the establishment of a Business Facilitation Center to streamline the investment process and the introduction of business-friendly policies across various sectors such as tourism, hotels, IT, and infrastructure development.

The Chairman highlighted the recent approval of Joint Venture Rules and directed that these be made accessible on the CDA’s website along with detailed information about future projects and investment opportunities to assist the business community.
