Islamabad, January 26, 2023 (PPI-OT):Capital Development Authority got a lot of appreciation on the second day of the auction of plots. On the second day of the auction, a large number of investors participated and intense competition was witnessed. So far 20 plots have been sold in the auction worth more than 32.50 billion. The open auction of the plots will continue till January 26 at Jinnah Convention Centre, Islamabad.
The auction is being monitored by an auction committee headed by CDA member finance. Other members of the committee include Member State, Member Planning and Design, DFA-II, DG Law, Director Public Relations, Director Urban Planning, Director Regional Planning, Director State Management-II and Director Finance.
It should be noted that the committee has made effective arrangements to make the public auction transparent and competitive. Due to which the investors are actively participating in the bidding and getting the plots according to their choice. The management of Capital Development Authority has organized the auction in open hall to ensure the transparency of public auction. Likewise, regular video recording of bidders and bid receivers is also being done so that there is no loophole in the process of transparency.
Chairman CDA appreciated the effective steps taken by the auction committee, transparency and successful public auction. In public auction, residential and commercial plots of different categories are available in developed sectors of Islamabad including commercial areas. The bids received after thorough scrutiny will be placed before the CDA Board which is the competent forum to accept or reject the bids.
