Islamabad, May 12, 2022 (PPI-OT):On the special directives of the management of Capital Development Authority the staff of the Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday, at the behest of the Enforcement Department, visited Syedpur of Margalla Hill. A thorough operation was carried out against illegal constructions on government lands in the area. District administration officers and a heavy contingent of Islamabad police were also present on the occasion to assist the CDA staff.

According to details, during the operation, an illegal room and a thatched hotel built on government land were demolished with the help of heavy machinery. In addition, two illegal houses in Mohalla Dara in Margalla Hills National Park Area were also demolished with the help of heavy machinery. In addition, a new house on government land in Mohalla Kandian was demolished with the help of heavy machinery.

Later, the buffalo enclosure set up on government land in the Mall Dheri area was partially demolished with the help of heavy machinery. On the occasion, the CDA administration said that protection of forests is the top priority for maintaining the natural beauty of Islamabad and all possible steps will be taken for this.
