Islamabad, April 05, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Administration of the Capital Development Authority, the district administration and the MCI in collaboration with the citizens during the month of Ramadan to provide fresh items to the citizens at cheap rates. Markets have been organized. These markets have been set up in Sectors G-6, G-7 and G-10 on a daily basis.
Relevant departments have been directed that in all the cheap bazaars set up in Islamabad not only food items will be provided in abundance at cheap rates but also their quality will be given special attention as the purpose of holding cheap bazaars. To provide full facility to the fasting people.
Officers of the concerned departments have been further directed that the main objective of setting up cheap bazaars is to ensure supply of fresh and cheap food items, fresh fruits and vegetables to the citizens of the federal capital during the month of Ramadan.
The concerned departments were further directed to take all necessary steps to ensure adequate supply of food items at cheap rates in all the cheap bazaars set up in Islamabad for the convenience of the citizens during Ramadan and strict monitoring in this regard. The system should be clarified so that the citizens of Islamabad can take full advantage of this facility.
Officers of the concerned departments were further directed to ensure their presence in the cheap markets so that immediate redressal of the grievances of the consumers visiting these markets could be made possible. Further, strict action was directed against those who overcharged or misbehaved with the consumers. Similarly, the price list of food items has been directed to be displayed at prominent places in the cheap markets so that the citizens can see the prices of the items as per their requirements.
