The meeting was chaired by Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa and focused on administrative changes and new development initiatives.
According to Capital Development Authority, the board decided to place the Resource Wing under the administrative control of the Member Finance to better achieve revenue targets, explore new revenue sources, and address any shortcomings in the current collection process. The move aims to incorporate technology and modern practices to enhance financial management within the CDA.
Furthermore, the board resolved to revive the cinema industry in Islamabad, a move that includes redeveloping previously allocated plots as per legal standards and introducing four new sites for modern cinemas that meet international standards. This initiative is part of broader efforts to enhance cultural and recreational facilities in the city.
