Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has officially launched its Graduate Internship Program for 2024, offering recent graduates the opportunity to gain practical experience in various fields while earning a stipend. This six-month internship, set to commence in June 2024, targets young professionals in the fields of Business Administration, Marketing, and Computer Sciences.
According to Capital Development Authority, this program aims to bridge the gap between academic theories and real-world applications by engaging graduates from government-recognized institutions. Successful applicants will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 40,000. The CDA has set clear eligibility criteria, including a Bachelor’s degree obtained within the last three years.
The application process is streamlined through an online system, ensuring accessibility and efficiency for potential candidates. Moreover, the selection procedure emphasizes academic excellence, with a detailed method for evaluating candidates’ past academic performances.
Interns will not only gain substantial work experience but will also be subject to a structured assessment process to maximize their development. However, the CDA clarified that these positions are strictly temporary and do not promise subsequent employment or regularization.
Interested candidates are encouraged to apply within 15 days from the announcement of the program. The CDA will post the names of shortlisted candidates on its official website, along with detailed guidelines for the next steps in the selection process.
