CCPO Lahore Reviews Performance of Iqbal Town and City Divisions


Lahore, In a significant move to bolster law enforcement efficiency in Lahore, Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Bilal Siddique Kamiana chaired a meeting to assess the performance of the Iqbal Town and City Divisions. The meeting, held at the CCPO Office, aimed to evaluate crime control measures and the overall police performance within these divisions.



According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, CCPO Kamiana expressed his satisfaction with the effective crime control and commendable performance in the city division. He specifically lauded the Station House Officers (SHOs) of Adda, Niwanarkali, Badami Bagh, and Gwalmandi for their outstanding efforts. Emphasizing the importance of public service, he instructed that immediate relief should be provided to citizens during open courts. He also highlighted the necessity for the Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) to promptly respond to incidents of aerial firing, ensuring thorough investigations and action, including operations in areas known for such offences.



Additionally, CCPO Kamiana directed the implementation of decoy operations in plain clothes to enhance crime control and assured the safe delivery of Ramadan packages to citizens, reflecting a commitment to community welfare ahead of the holy month.



The meeting saw participation from DIG (Investigation) Zeeshan Asghar, SSP (Admin) Atif Nazir, SSP (Operations) Syed Ali Raza, SSP (Investigation) Anush Masood Chaudhry, along with Superintendents of Police (SPs), Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs), Circle Officers, SHOs, and In-charges (Investigation) from Iqbal Town and City Divisions. This gathering underscores the Lahore Police’s dedication to improving service delivery and ensuring public safety across the city.
