CBD Punjab Chief Inspects Lahore Development Projects, Eyes Timely Completion

Lahore, The CEO of Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), Imran Amin, conducted a comprehensive review of the ongoing construction projects under the authority’s purview, including the Ghora Chowk Flyover and infrastructure at Lahore Prime, CBD Punjab Quaid District. The visits were part of the authority’s commitment to ensure the timely completion of these key infrastructure developments.

According to Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), CEO Imran Amin, accompanied by COO CBD Punjab Brigadier (R) Mansoor Janjua, and other high-level executives, assessed the progress of the projects. The visit was marked by a detailed examination of various aspects of construction and the overall progress toward completion.

During the visit, Amin stressed the need for prompt execution while adhering to the quality standards mandated by Chief Minister Punjab Syed Mohsin Naqvi. He asserted that the successful completion of these projects is critical for ushering in a new era of development and modern urban infrastructure in Lahore.

The Ghora Chowk Flyover has shown considerable advancement, with the construction team achieving milestones such as the completion of retaining piles, pile caps, piers, abutment walls, and steel fixing for designated spans. Moreover, efforts are underway on the flyover’s slip roads and drainage systems.

In the CBD Punjab Quaid District at Lahore Prime, the technical team reported the successful asphalt paving of roads, installation of drainage systems, and the establishment of essential utilities such as electricity and water supplies. The area has also seen progress in landscaping and plantation, indicating a move towards the holistic development of the district.

Amin’s review visit highlights CBD Punjab’s dedication to meeting the project timelines while signaling the Punjab government’s focus on economic and infrastructural development in the region.
