Islamabad, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar ul Haw has called for unified efforts to steer Pakistan towards stability, prosperity, and a prominent standing among global nations. His statement came during the concluding remarks of a federal cabinet meeting held in Islamabad, emphasizing the country’s inherent potential and rich cultural heritage as foundational strengths for progress.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister lauded the support and dedication of the staff in the Prime Minister’s office, specifically highlighting the contributions of the military secretary, principal secretary, and cabinet secretary towards the government’s objectives. The federal cabinet, in its meeting, expressed contentment with the caretaker government’s initiatives focused on departmental restructuring, fostering foreign investments, and improving the ease of doing business within the country.
The cabinet also sanctioned the acceptance of the Turkish Armed Forces Legion of Merit Award by Army Chief General Asim Munir as a nod to his efforts in enhancing Pakistan-Turkey defense cooperation. Additionally, an MOU between the Ministry of National Food Security and the UAE-based Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agriculture Innovation was approved. This agreement sets the stage for the inaugural Pakistan Date Palm Festival scheduled for September, aiming to boost date palm production.
The meeting’s decisions reflect a strategic focus on leveraging international partnerships and domestic capabilities to drive Pakistan’s growth and development.
