Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan Honors UAE Heroes at Wahat Al Karama Memorial

Islamabad, Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan, Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, visited the Wahat Al Karama memorial in Abu Dhabi today to pay tribute to the UAE’s national heroes who sacrificed their lives for their country. Wahat Al Karama, a significant national and cultural landmark, is dedicated to commemorating the UAE’s martyrs.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during his visit, the Prime Minister was welcomed by Sheikh Thayeb bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Development and Martyrs Families Affairs Office at the Presidential Court. He attended a solemn Guard of Honour ceremony and laid a wreath at the Martyrs’ Monument, which consists of 31 panels representing the unity and solidarity among the UAE’s leadership, people, and heroic soldiers.

The Prime Minister received a briefing about the memorial, which symbolizes the sacrifices of valiant Emirati soldiers. At the conclusion of his tour, he noted his remarks in the memorial’s guest book, expressing appreciation for the bravery of the UAE’s martyrs.

The visit to Wahat Al Karama underscores the respect and recognition by the Pakistani leadership for the sacrifices made by the UAE’s soldiers. It also reflects the strong bilateral ties between Pakistan and the UAE.
